Summer Sessions
Summer is a wonderful time to explore at SkyStone. We have several options for all ages, all taught by SkyStone faculty.

All sessions require a $25 registration fee for students new to SkyStone.

CLASSES
Dance Discovery for Pre-School 3-4
Session June 11-25th
Tuesday Mornings 10:30-11:15
​
This introductory dance class for ages 3-4 meets Tuesdays mornings in June. Basic Ballet fundamentals, creative movement., and exercises to enhance coordination are explored in interactive studio room for young children

Full 4 week session - $50
Dance Explorers age 5-7
Session June 4th-25th
Tuesday mornings 11:15-12:15

For young dancers with some or no experience. This 4 week course will explore ballet fundamentals, creative movement, coordination development, modern dance fundamentals and creative play.

Visual Art for children
ages 6-10
classes limited to 6 students
Session June 4th-25th
11:00a.m. - 12:00p,m.

This course is designed to explore visual art theory through weekly creative practice.
No experience necessary.

Functional Ballet
for pre-professional dancers 12 and up
with Jen Medina
Session begins June 12th-25th
Classes meet Wednesday/Thursday
11:00-1:00

This course is perfect for the dancer desiring to intersect technical improvement and self confidence in ballet. With an ongoing course for the month of June, the dancer is able to have time to consistently address in practice theories of the physics of ballet, the anatomy of technical development, exercises to implement throughout their dancing. Master teacher Jennifer Medina is known throughout the country for her ability to engage dancers from diverse backgrounds in the joy of ballet.
